YES, you can get your chance to have a taster session in bell ringing. We have six beautiful bells in St,Johns and we are proud to have them in our church. We are opening our doors to anyone who would like to ring them.
Saturday 26th July 2025 at 10am we will be opening our doors to you for a few hours.
Come along and receive proper instruction how to ring the bells using the ropes.
Can you believe its almost a year since the harvest lunch 2023!
The 2024 lunch will be right after the 11am Harvest Service.
The lunch will be stew and apple tart and will cost £10 per person.

The Bible Studies and Alpha Groups will be having a joint gathering on Wednesday 30th March at the Rectory, we’ll have a relaxing chat with tea and coffee.
For anyone who missed the Alpha course first time round, we plan to run another course in the Autumn in the afternoon.

It is 8 weeks until Easter and as a Parish we would like to support Home Start Families by giving them a gift of an Easter egg.

The list of Registered Vestry Person is open for revision from Sunday 30th January to Sunday 20th Februsry 2022.
Anyone who is 18 years or older, who is a subscribing member of the parish and is not registered as a Vestry Person in another parish, is eligible to register.
Registration forms are available from the Church Wardens, Alan or Jennifer or from the Rector Myrtle from 23rd January. Registration enables you to vote at the AGM of the Vestry. The register will be reviewed at a Review Meeting on Tuesday 22nd February at 7:30pm.
